Mahaicony residents want reopening of regional sub-office – DPI

Residents of Mahaicony in Region 5 have called for the re-opening of the sub-office of the Regional Democratic Council (RDC) in the area. They believe this move will allow for speedier development, the Department of Public Information (DPI) reported yesterday.

The farming areas of Cottage and Perseverance brought several issues to Minister of Citizenship, Winston Felix yesterday, among them, the need for a regional sub-office , DPI said.

Felix met with the residents at the Cottage Nursery School, as part of region-wide community meetings being conducted by several ministers of the government.
