Career banker, Imran Saccoor was last week elected to the post of President of the Cumberland, East-Canje-based, Young Warriors Cricket Club.
According to first-division captain, Suresh Dhani, the club is in the process of rebuilding after suffering an unwelcomed three-year haitus.
However, upon resuming competitive cricket after being re-admitted by the Berbice Cricket Board (BCB), last year, the resurgence has seen the club competing in three finals and also winning the Ivan Madray 100-ball tournament.
