Venezuelan shoplifter sentenced to do community service

A Venezuelan woman was sentenced to do three weeks of community service yesterday after she pleaded guilty to shoplifting from a Bounty Supermarket.

Oliamith Gonsalves, 27, appeared in the courtroom of Senior Magistrate Leron Daly in Georgetown, where she was faced with the charge that on August 24th, at Bounty Supermarket, she stole two sticks of deodorant, two razors, Bounty beef cuts, and chicken feet, all valued at a total of $5,490.
