Former captains of the Guyana Amazon Warriors, Chris Green and Shoaib Malik have arrived in Guyana and will join the franchise ahead of their 2019 HERO Caribbean Premier League (CPL) campaign which begins this week.
The pair was seen at nets at the Providence National Stadium yesterday with the team, leaving only Shimron Hetmyer and Keemo Paul who are with the West Indies Test side battling India in Jamaica along with Nicholas Pooran and Shadab Khan are the remaining members yet to join the unit.
Malik, who was tipped by Head Coach Johan Botha to lead the side this season was given the role last year but departed after five matches following which Green was named captain.
