Guyana’s 2018 Commonwealth Games, triple jump, gold medalist, Troy Doris has fully switched his focus towards achieving international glory next year, which includes an Olympic medal.
Having to sit out most of the competitive 2019 season due to injuries, the triple jumper who leapt into the record books following his heroic exploits last year in Australia, has aspirations of achieving a similar feat in Tokyo, Japan host of the XXXII Olympiad.
“There hasn’t really been much competition this year for me because of the injuries that I’ve been getting healed up” Doris told Stabroek Sport yesterday.
