A utility post yesterday morning fell, crushing a stall located on Mandela Avenue just opposite the Rubis Gas Station. The pole fell as a result of an excavator, which is currently working on the Sheriff Street\Mandela Avenue Road expansion project, getting to close to the pole’s position causing it to be uprooted. There were no reported injuries.
