Passenger injured in New Hope collision succumbs

Rawle Glasgow, one of several passengers injured after the Route 42 minibus they were travelling in collided with a pick-up along the New Hope, East Bank Demerara (EBD) Public Road more than a month ago, has succumbed.

Sunday Stabroek understands that Glasgow, 54, a father of six of Coverden, EBD, succumbed to his injuries last Sunday at the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH).

Glasgow had sustained multiple injuries including a fractured hand and spinal injuries.

He never regained consciousness following the accident, which occurred around 6.45am on August 2nd.
