GAW complete third win with 47-run victory over Tridents

Guyana Amazon Warriors registered their third straight victory at the Providence National Stadium last night with a 47–run decimation of Barbados Tridents in the HERO Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

Motivated by the 15,000 in attendance, Warriors, asked to bat first clobbered 91 runs off the last six overs to reach 180-4. Tridents were blown away for 133 in 16.4 overs in reply.

A maiden T20 half-century for Chandrapaul Hemraj anchored the Warriors’ innings after Brandon King was bowled by Jason Holder in the second over.
