An armed robbery accused was yesterday freed after a city magistrate found that the prosecution failed to prove its case against him.
Dexter Forde was on trial before Magistrate Rondell Weaver in George-town.
It was alleged that on March 19th, at Sideline Dam, La Penitence, George-town, while armed with a dangerous weapon, Forde robbed Riaz Ghanie of a total of $45,000 in cash and items.
