Timehri Panthers were crowned the inaugural champion of the Vurlon Mills Football Academy/MVP Sports U-11 Tournament last Saturday at the St Stanislaus College ground, Carifesta Avenue.
The Timehri Panthers defeated Vurlon Mills Football Academy (VMFA) 4-0 in the final. Omar Sam, the event’s eventual Most Valuable Player (MVP) recorded a hat-trick.
Adding a goal in the win was Keran Williams. The Timehri Panthers pocketed medals and the championship trophy for their efforts. For the runner-up, the corresponding accolade was received.
