Savory, Sampson centuries propel Police to first innings against DCC

Cracking centuries from Kemol Savory and Quentin Samson propelled the Police Sports Club (PSC) to first innings honours over the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) as the two sides played to an exciting draw in the latest round of the Georgetown Cricket Association Noble House Seafoods second-division, two-day cricket competition yesterday.  

Police, who resumed the day on 98-2, trailing by 242 runs, reached 374-9 before declaring their innings closed after surpassing DCC’s 340-9 declared.

The inning was built around a vicious century from Savory who cracked an attractive 132 from 139 deliveries.
