Five homeless after Plaisance blaze

A family of five was last evening displaced after a fire of unknown origin ripped through their Plaisance, East Coast Demerara house.

Details surrounding the fire which started around 7.30pm remain sketchy.

Reports are that the house which is situated on Graham Street, Plaisance, ECD was owned by “Florence”. She lived with four other relatives including her young grandson.
