Non-management and supervisory staff of Bosai Minerals Group (Guyana) Inc (BMGGI) yesterday accepted a 14% wage and salary increase over two years, bringing protest and strike action taken on Wednesday, 18 September 2019 to an end.
Per this agreement, non-management and supervisory staff will receive a 7% increase for the period April 2019 – March 2020, and another 7% increase for the period April 2020 to March 2021.
National Association of Agricultural, Commercial, and Industrial Employees (NAACIE), and BOSAI employee, Neptrid Hercules, speaking with Stabroek News yesterday afternoon said that employees were happy with the offer.
