Cordons erected around the Ministry of the Presidency yesterday were done based on the Guyana Police Force’s (GPF) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Police Public Relations Officer (ag) Superintendent Shivpersaud Bacchus told Stabroek News.
According to Bacchus the force received intelligence that a protest of the Ministry was planned and moved to set up the perimeter to prevent persons from getting to close to the compound.
