Guyana on Tuesday signed an Air Services Agreement with the Middle Eastern state of Qatar to facilitate aviation services between the two countries as well as beyond to third countries with no restrictions on capacity, frequency, aircraft type and routing.

A release yesterday from the Guyana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) said that the Agreement will create new opportunities for air carriers and enable greater movement of people and goods between the two countries.
