Mechanic fined for stabbing shop owner with scissors

A young mechanic was yesterday fined after he was found guilty of wounding a shop owner in the vicinity of the Merriman Mall in Georgetown.

Charged for the crime was Brandon Singh, 20, who was tried for unlawfully wounding Roy Collins on May 11, 2019.

After analysing the evidence presented to the court by the prosecutor, Georgetown Magistrate Rhondell Weever yesterday ruled that the defendant was guilty of the crime.
