Two ganja trafficking accused get bail after Westminster bust

Bail was on Friday granted to two men jointly charged with the illegal possession of narcotics after they denied the charge, which was read to them by a city magistrate.

The charge, which was read by acting Chief Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus in Georgetown, alleged that Joel De Oliveira and Marlon Fredericks, on September 26th, at Westminster, West Bank Demerara, had 81 grammes of cannabis in their possession for the purpose of trafficking.
