A Festival City man was shot dead by masked bandits who broke into his home early yesterday morning.
Darrell Breedy, 53, who worked as a tout outside the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts, was shot once to his abdomen during a home invasion, which occurred around 3.30 am at his Lot 2037 Humming bird Street, Festival City, North Ruimveldt residence. He died on spot.
Crime Chief (ag) Michael Kingston, when contacted for a comment yesterday, told Sunday Stabroek that an investigation had been launched and that the police were looking for the suspects.
