No new leads in murder of Festival City man

With no new leads in the murder probe of Festival City man, Darrell Breedy, who was shot on Saturday morning during a home invasion, investigations are continuing.

Commander of ‘A’ Division Marlon Chapman yesterday told Stabroek News that they are still investigating the matter. He noted that they have not been able to apprehend any suspects.

On Saturday morning, Breedy, 53, who worked as a tout outside the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts, was shot once in his abdomen. The attack occurred around 3.30 am at his Lot 2037 Hummingbird Street, Festival City, North Ruimveldt residence. He died on the spot.
