As part of its second anniversary in Guyana, Hero Caribbean MotoCorp on Monday made a monetary contribution to the Cancer Institute of Guyana.
At a simple but significant ceremony at the Cancer Institute of Guyana, Lamaha Street, Hero Country Manager, Deon Williams, presented a cheque valued US$1,500 to Medical Director of the Institute Dr. Sayan Chakraborty in the presence of Coordinator Monette Harry and Accountant Kamla Mohan.
The funds were accrued from a raffle that was held during the Guyana leg of the Hero Caribbean Premier League 2019. Williams said the overwhelming support and generosity of Guyanese allowed Hero to contribute to a worthy cause.
