With World Sight Day being observed today, free eye screening is on offer at the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPHC) and at Mattai’s on Water Street.
A statement from the Department of Ophthalmology of the GPHC said that the hospital will be hosting free eye testing at the GPHC Eye Clinic from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The statement said that patients will have free access to the clinic and can walk in to have their eyes tested for Glaucoma, Cataract, Refractive Errors, Diabetic Retino-pathy and other eye diseases.
