The National Sports Commission (NSC) through donations from sporting goods store, West Indian Sports Complex (WISP) has aided the Buxton Cricket Club following a fire that hit the club last month.
Director of Sport, Christopher Jones stated: “We heard and saw what happened and learning of their equipment being destroyed, the NSC, in collaboration with West Indian Sports Complex because I reached out to them indicating that I have some of the equipment that is needed, West Indian Sports Complex readily came on board to lend support and we made that contribution so they can get back into the game.”
