Secondary schools football league launched

The 2nd edition of the ‘GuyOil/Tradewind Tankers Secondary Schools Football League’ was officially launched yesterday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.

The event which is slated to commence on October 27th, will feature 10 teams battling in a league format. The matches will be held on Sundays and Mondays, with the final match date penciled for December 8th.

The competing teams are defending champion Annandale, St Stanislaus College, St John’s College, President’s College, Berbice High School, Cummings Lodge Secondary, Marian Academy, Lodge Secondary, Queen’s College and Charlestown Secondary.
