Conservation International-Guyana (CI-G) is pioneering a project that could see the development of mercury-free jewellery under the El Dorado brand.
In an advertisement in yesterday’s Sunday Stabroek, CI-G said it is seeking letters of expressions of interest from suitable concessionaires for mining concessions “for the conduct of demonstrations that showcase alternative technologies for the verifiable production of mercury-free gold that builds the capacity of miners in the use of such technologies”.
