Murder convict returned to prison after cutlass attack on co-worker

A murder convict will be returning to jail after he was given a three-year sentence yesterday for wounding a co-worker in an attack with a cutlass.

Paul Johnson, who previously spent 15 years in prison for murder, admitted to a charge of inflicting grievous bodily harm.

He was sentenced by Senior Magistrate Leron Daly in Georgetown after the charge was read to him. The charge stated that on September 20th, 2019, at D’Urban Backlands, Georgetown, he inflicted grievous bodily harm on Chandrika Vickram.
