The Miss Berbice 2019 pageant was launched last week at the Albion Sports Complex where a small but elegant ceremony saw four contestants sashed.
Since its debut in 2017, Miss Berbice/I’m a Big Deal Beauty and Empowerment Pageant has become the most anticipated event in the ancient county. This third edition of the pageant is expected to be bigger and better that the last two years.
While the pageant has always encouraged beauty, glitz and glam, the last competitions saw participants afforded the opportunity of bringing awareness to issues that are important to them and trying to find solutions to tackle the same.
