A body, suspected to be that of a Venezuelan man, was found with multiple stab wounds in the shallow waters of a creek at Tabatinga, during the wee hours of yesterday morning near the Brazil-Lethem border.
The body, which is yet to be identified, was found in the Tabatinga Creek by two residents who live close to the creek along with some policemen who had been summoned.
An investigation of the suspected murder is underway and police have already arrested several persons.
