Cops testify at preliminary trial of accused in taxi driver’s murder

Two police detectives testified on Monday when the Preliminary Inquiry (PI) into the murder charge against Osafa Grundell and James Fraser, who are accused of killing taxi driver Marlon Rodney, continued.

The two detectives, each of whom is stationed at the Brickdam Police Station, took the stand before Principal Magistrate Faith McGusty in Georgetown on Monday.

Grundell, 39, of Freeman Street, East La Penitence, Georgetown, and Fraser, of Garnett Street, Kitty, are alleged to have murdered Rodney between April 25th, and April 30th, last, at Norton Street, Lodge, Georgetown.
