Fugitive accused of killing wife held at Mahdia

After managing to elude the police for more than six years, a 36-year-old gold miner who is accused of fatally stabbing his wife at Tenapu Backdam, North West District in 2013 was arrested on Tuesday.

Regional Commander of Region #1 (Barima-Waini) Senior Supertindent Wendell Blanhum yesterday told Stabroek News that Floyd Rodrigues was arrested at Mahdia.

He is presently in custody assisting with investigations.
