Labourer gets 14 months for $1.5M break and enter theft

A labourer who stole more than $1.5 million in articles from the home of a woman was on Friday sentenced to 14 months in prison after a city magistrate found him guilty of the offence.

The charge against Ceon Isaacs, 26, of West Ruimveldt, Georgetown, alleged  that on July 12th, 2019, at Cane View Avenue, South Ruimveldt, Georgetown, he broke and entered the dwelling house of Sandra Adams and stole articles valued $1,140,000, a television valued $364,000, a diamond nose ring valued $10,000 and a Samsung charger valued $10,000.
