The Kwakwani Workers’ Club in the Upper Demerara-Berbice Region has been recommissioned and handed back to the community, the Department of Public Information (DPI) said yesterday.
During a service on Sunday last, both residents and guests; Minister of Natural Resources, Raphael Trotman and Minister of Finance, Winston Jordan expressed satisfaction that the project was undertaken and finally completed.
For Trotman, who was behind the project from inception, it was a moment of appreciation.
