No bail for youth charged with stealing cop’s motorbike

Levar Moore, a 20-year-old electrician who is accused of robbing a policeman of his motorcycle at gunpoint, was yesterday remanded to prison.

Moore, of Eccles, denied the charge, which was read by Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court One.

The charge states that on November 9th, 2019, at Princes Street, Georgetown, while being in  the company of others and armed with a gun, Moore stole a motorcycle, valued $270,000, from Sherwin Thornhill.
