The police have sought legal advice on possible charges against the suspects in last Monday’s robbery at the Matthews Ridge Airstrip, during which a quantity of raw gold was stolen, Crime Chief (ag) Michael Kingston has said.
Kingston, when contacted for an update last evening, told Stabroek News that the case file was dispatched yesterday for legal advice, which will determine the way forward in the matter.
The four suspects, who include a policeman, remained in police custody up to last evening.
