Youth fined for slapping policewoman

Daniel Boutrim, who was recently charged with stabbing his sister and escaping lawful custody, was yesterday fined after he admitted to slapping a policewoman.

The 21-year-old man, of Lot 157 Guyhoc Park, was arraigned before Principal Magistrate Faith McGusty in Georgetown, where he was faced with four charges.

The first alleged that on December 9th, 2019, at the East La Penitence Police Station, he unlawfully assaulted Lance Corporal Ageday, so as to cause her actual body harm. It was also alleged that on the same date and at the same location, he made use of threatening behaviour toward Ageday, a peace officer acting in the execution of her duty.
