Albion Cricket Club’s Kandasammy Surujnarine is confident his unit can dethrone Rose Hall Town Namilco Thunderbolts in Saturday’s final and lift the Berbice Cricket Board/Busta Champion-of-Champions title.
The first-division knockout 40 overs competition, which will culminate at the Area ‘H’ ground this weekend, has so far seen Thunderbolts earn a bye in the first round and beat Blairmont Blazers by eight wickets to book their spot in the semi-final.
At the venue for the final, Thunderbolts secured a four-wicket win over Tucber Park to move one step closer to their 14th title of the event.
