Stolen SUV found abandoned after Bel Air Village robbery

The sports utility vehicle (SUV) which was stolen earlier this week during an armed robbery committed on civil engineer Travis Bridgemohan and his family at their Bel Air Village home was found abandoned but intact at ‘A’ Field, Sophia, on Wednesday evening.

Stabroek News was reliably informed that the police, acting on information received, went to ‘A’ Field, Sophia around 5.45 pm on Wednesday, where the vehicle, a Nissan X Trail with the licence plate PSS 6075, was found abandoned. The keys were found in the grass a short distance away.

The vehicle was processed and has since been lodged at the Turkeyen Police Station pending further investigations.
