The University of Guyana (UG) once again lauded their student athletes during its 2019 sports awards ceremony at the institution’s Turkeyen Campus Friday evening.
The awards ceremony, which has been a regular feature under the administration’s sports organizer Lavern Fraser-Thomas, highlighted the sterling athleticism of students of the nation’s highest learning institution.
Leading the list of awardees were Osafa Dos Santos (Faculty of Education and Humanities) and Ruth Sanmoogan (Faculty of Health Sciences) who were adjudged the male and female champion athletes respectively, following the completion of the 2019 inter-faculty championships.
