Guyana’s Dorado Speed Club places 5th overall at TT swim meet

One of Guyana’s premier swimming institutions, the Dorado Speed Club, ended the 2019 Amateur Swimming Association of Trinidad and Tobago (ASATT) Invitational Swimming Championships fifth overall out of 28 competing teams when the curtain came down on the event Saturday. 

 This year the ASATT Invitational attracted over 400 swimmers attached to competing swim clubs from six countries including Barbados, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, St. Vincent and Trinidad and Tobago.

The final day of the meet at the National Aquatic Centre in Couva cemented the dominance of Dorado’s dynamo trio; Elliott Gonsalves, Vladimir Woodroffe and Monique Watson.
