President’s College will oppose New Amsterdam Technical Institute [NATI] in the U18 final, Kwakwani will battle Arima in the U16 section and Marian Academy will engage Kwakwani in the girls division following semi-final wins in the Youth Basketball Guyana [YBG] Titan Bowl Championship.
Hosted at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, on Homestretch Avenue on Saturday, President’s College bested Marian Academy 46-40. Jushawn Bailey led the East Coast Demerara unit with 13 points and seven rebounds while Richard Semple added 13 points and three rebounds. For Marian Academy, Jether Harris recorded 24 points and seven rebounds.
New Amsterdam Technical Institute [NATI] downed Government Technical Institute [GTI] 38-29. Kadeen Dover top scored for the victor with 20 points and five rebounds. For the loser, Israel Yaw tallied 12 points and nine rebounds.
