A South Ruimveldt man, who police say was found in unlawful possession of a pistol, has been granted his release on $100,000 bail.
Andre Pollydore, of Lot 327 Lamaha Place, South Ruimveldt, appeared before Principal Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus in Georgetown yesterday on a charge of possession of an illegal firearm.
The charge states that on December 18th, at Sheriff Street, Campbellville, he had a 9mm pistol in his possession, while he was not the lawful holder of a firearm licence at the time.
