With six hours of play lost due to rain Anthony Adams XI managed to close yesterday’s opening day against Leon Johnson’s XI at 80-2.
In the first three-day practice match for the Guyana Jaguars team at the National Stadium, Providence, intermittent rainfall forced the covers to remain extensively on a pitch that was reportedly soaked the night before and not allowed to dry due to the weather.
This made only 34 overs possible.
