Convicted for the rape of a nine-year-old girl, Gingish Khan, 51, now awaits his sentence pending the presentation of a probation report on him and a victim impact statement.
Following just over an hour of deliberations yesterday afternoon, a 12-member jury unanimously convicted Khan on charges of carnally knowing a girl under the age of 15.
Additionally, he was found guilty on three counts of indecently assaulting the child.
