Persaud wins MVP at Mc Gill Super Stars SC Awards

Former national under-19 captain, Travis Persaud was deemed the Most Valuable Player of the McGill Super Stars SC when they hosted their annual awards ceremony last week at the New Thriving Restaurant, Providence.

Persaud’s all-round effort saw him scoring 465 runs with a top score of 99 not out as well as taking 17 wickets with a best of 3-21 after 18 matches in the year.

During the night, Prahalad Singh was deemed the best fielder while Azar Deen was adjudged the most improved player scoring 152 runs and taking five wickets from 12 matches.
