Mission: Beat Guyana says Dillon

Head Coach of Trinidad and Tobago Red Force, Mervyn Dillon.

Head Coach of the Trinidad and Tobago Red Force, Mervyn Dillon said his side is on a mission to beat Guyana Jaguars when the two teams clash in the final round of the Cricket West Indies Regional Four-Day Championships from today at Providence.

Speaking to this publication prior to their final training session at the venue, Dillon was reluctant to share the mood in the camp stating that he “preferred not to give Guyana any secrets” but said the side is confident as always. Dillon bluntly said their sole intent this round is to beat Guyana.

Red Force has been scampering near the bottom of the table in fifth position with 85.6 points coming from eight matches while Jaguars are comfortably at the top of the table with 136 points.

Dillon said the day and night affair is a good experience for the players.
