The official fixtures for the opening night in the Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ East Coast Demerara zone were released yesterday ahead of the event’s start on Friday at the Haslington Market Tarmac.
Defending champions and history maker Uprising will headline the evening’s proceedings with a clash against newcomer Non-Pariel. The reigning champions became the first and only team to date to win the event as a playoff qualifier.
Among the other teams set to compete on opening night are former champions Beterverwagting [BV]-A, Melanie-A, Melanie-B and BV-B alongside Haslington Hypers, Plaisance-B, Victoria, Mahaica Determinators, Buxton Diamond, Paradise-A, Liliendaal Hustlers, Victoria Church Yard United, Belfield Warriors and GWI East Coast.
