Dan Jah V drops ‘Amicicide’

Javis Cox

Dancehall artiste Javes ‘Dan Jah V’ Cox is at it again and this time he has released a song called “Amicicide”. Expected to be a hit, the song targets fake friends who secretly scheme to bring you down.

“The song means friend killer. It talks about bad-minded friends who secretly plot to bring you down, whether it is to fabricate lies or drag your name through the mud just so that other people looking on have a better perception of their own image. The song brings to light about the people who only love you until you become a competition. When things like these happen it’s not that people have changed, it’s just that certain situations reveal who they really are,” Dan Jah V explained.

The fulltime singer/song writer has collaborated with a recording label from Jamaica known as Damage Musiq and the song has been mixed and mastered by AJ Recording Studio. The song is one that has been added to the renowned Conquest Paradise Riddim giving a more familiar rhythm for his fans.
