Former standout boxer, Junior Christie, yesterday gave a timely shot in the arm in the form of gear to the four Cuba bound pugilists.
Christie, who represented Guyana at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles, California, USA, handed over gloves, bandages, trunks and jump ropes to the four 2020 Tokyo Olympic hopefuls who depart Guyana on Saturday for a three-month training stint to the Spanish speaking island.
