A newspaper vendor was killed last night after two men, both armed, invaded his Essequibo Coast home in an attempted robbery.
Chunilall Manilall, 48, of Queenstown, Essequibo Coast, who was a newspaper vendor at Charity and Anna Regina, was shot and killed in his home after he attempted to fend off the two men.
The attack occurred just around 8.20 pm, when men, one armed with a cutlass and another with a gun, entered Manilall’s home.
