A Linden man will have to face another trial after a jury yesterday failed to reach a verdict on charges of rape levelled against him.
Fifty-nine-year-old Carlyle Williams of Blueberry Hill, Wismar, Linden, was facing two counts of rape. The first charge stated that Williams on October 14th, 2017, at Wismar, Linden engaged in sexual activity with a teenager. The second charge alleged that he on October 15th, 2017, at the same location engaged in sexual activity with the teen.
