The University of Guyana (UG) and Everest yesterday recorded outright wins at the conclusion of the weekend’s Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA), Noble House Seafoods second-division two-day matches.
After surrendering first innings points, UG defeated Bel Air Rubis by 44 runs at the Queen’s College ground while Everest got past Diplomats by 52 runs.
Resuming the final day on 14-1 and trailing by 56 runs, UG was dismissed for 263 in 44.1 overs at the stroke of lunch on the second day.
